This fall we would like to invite the creators in our midst to help our community reflect on what it means to meet with Jesus through an art exhibit entitled "Encounters with Jesus."

As a community we've journeyed through the Gospel of Luke on Sunday mornings we've seen many people encounter Jesus. This is a chance for us to reflect creatively on what happens when people meet Jesus—in the Gospel of Luke, in life today, in our own hearts.

If you are a poet or painter; if you sketch, quilt, sculpt, or create any other form of visual or written art, we would invite you to share your work with us! This will be an informal show, on display in our lobby and auditorium for two weeks. If children or families wish to participate they are also welcome to do so. There is no skill level required for participation—we simply want to receive our community's creative reflection on what it means to encounter Jesus.

Submissions need to be brought to the church by Monday, October 16th. If you would like to participate, will will need you to sign up here.

Questions can be directed to Kirsten Anonby.
