We believe that Jesus calls us to care deeply for the spiritual and physical needs of people. Every person is priceless and deserves to be treated with dignity. Jesus identifies Himself with the vulnerable and invites us to do the same: He says that when we love those who are most vulnerable — whom Jesus calls the least of these in Matthew 25 — we love and serve Him. So, what does that look like?
As a church in the Langley community, we love and serve those immediately around us. We aim to do so through several Local Work initiatives.
We also believe that Jesus calls us to be His ambassadors all over the world. Our Global Work initiatives help us to do just that: we partner with several Global Workers who embody our core values in loving and serving vulnerable people. They are an extension of our church around the world — how amazing is that!
We invite you to consider doing three things to engage with our Global Work initiatives:
-
Pray for our Global Workers
-
Be financially generous
-
Get involved — ask God to give you a heart for vulnerable people, and see where it takes you!
We’ve created this part of the website to help you more effectively pray for our Global Workers. Included is a description of their ministry and some requests that they have shared for us to pray for. You can also give to Global Work here. Thank you for joining us in extending God’s love globally!
