Youth Getaway is a conference for teenagers focused on helping them grow in their faith and encounter God in a real and meaningful way. It gives students the opportunity to connect with others their age — not only from their own church, but from other churches as well, while building friendships and strengthening their sense of community. The weekend will also include a variety of engaging activities.
Supervision & Transportation
- Drop off at LWC on Friday, May 1 at 4:00pm
- Pick Up at LWC on Sunday, May 3 at 3:00pm
- We will be travelling by vans & cars driven by our youth leaders & volunteers
Accommodation & Meals
- We will be staying at the Super 8 Hotel [1881 Sumas Way, Abbotsford]
- The conference is at Abbotsford Pentecostal Assembly [3145 Gladwin Road, Abbotsford]
- There will be a continental breakfast available, however, lunch & dinner will be up to the student. We recommend up to $15 per meal (two lunches & two dinners)
Things to Bring
- Bible, notebook & pen
- Clothes for two days (when packing, please note there will be activities like dodgeball happening. There is also a pool at the hotel)
- Toiletries
- Money for meals (and anything extra the student wants to get or do)

**When registering, please complete both attached waiver forms—one is a liability release form for Youth Getaway (YG), and the other is a waiver for Living Waters Church (LWC). Both forms must be submitted before departure.

Also, please note: Due to unforeseen circumstances with our hotel, we can only accomodate 28 students overnight. Once that limit has been reached, students will be placed on a waitlist. You will be notified if this happens.
