What to Expect as a Volunteer:
- Dates: October 4–December 13
- Time: Wednesday Evenings 6–9pm
- Venue: Yorkson Creek Middle School
Join us as a volunteer and contribute to a 10-week journey that empowers participants to grow in their confidence to communicate in English. Here's how you can make an impact:
- Empower through Teaching: Introduce new vocabulary, provide insights, and assist with pronunciation to help learners build their language skills.
- Create a Supportive Environment: Foster interactive learning where participants can practice their English in a friendly setting.
- Guided Progression: Use a structured curriculum that ensures steady improvement over the course of the sessions and engages learners.
- Community Building: Connect with fellow volunteers and participants, sharing a small evening snack and socializing after each session.
