David Thormoset supports the global work of language development, literacy, Bible translation and Scripture use from Wycliffe Canada’s head office in Calgary. As Director of Project Administration, David and his team help ensure that global partner organizations have adequate prayer, funding, personnel, training and encouragement and that project partners in Canada receive timely, accurate reports about the fruit of their generosity.
David and his wife, Henny, served together for over 27 years in Wycliffe, 17 of those in Cameroon. In May 2021 however, the Lord chose to take Henny home after a five-month battle with cancer. David resumed his Wycliffe role full-time at the beginning of July and is attempting to finish the editing and publication of the book that Henny so diligently worked on for the last three years of her life.

- Thankfulness for the 44½ years marriage that the Lord gave Henny and David, and for their children and grandchildren who continue to bring joy to David's life.
- Continued emotional healing for the whole family as they adjust to the big, empty space Henny left behind.
