Free to Lead is a two day conference designed to inspire women of all ages to leadership within their church, home, business and community. The conference, sponsored by Living Waters Church, will be held in Fort Langley (9095 Glover Road) on Friday October 2nd from 7 to 9 pm and Saturday October 3rd, from 9am to 4pm.
Our dream is that women would understand the leadership potential that God has placed in them and then move forward, with confidence, in all that He has for them.
Main Speaker: Rev. Leanne McAlister
Leanne loves to help others understand who they were created to be and then assist them in walking it out through their passion, purpose and gifting.
She firmly believes Ephesians 1:11 when it says, “It’s in Christ we find out who we are and what we are living for…He had His eye on us, had designs on us for glorious living, part of the overall purpose He is working out in everything and everyone.” (The Message)
This message is reflected in her speaking, which is marked by authenticity, practicality and humour. Leanne, an ordained minister with the PAOC, is the Canadian Liaison for ZOE Projects which networks Canadian women to create ways for women around the world to thrive in four key areas: health, economic empowerment, education and freedom from human/sex trafficing...all with a heart for spiritual transformation.
Leanne and her husband Darcy reside in Langley, B.C. where Darcy also serves with the PAOC as the Personnel and Family Life Director of International Mission. Darcy and Leanne have three young adult children and a very needy puppy named Merry.
